I was born in Clinton, Missouri in which, while working at a factory, I met my now wife Shayna. After the factory started to have problems, I decided to join the United States Air Force, which I feel was one of the best decisions I have ever made as my life was going no where. After joining Shayna and I were married and then stationed at Hurlburt Field AFB FL. Here I completed one deployment to Iraq and two deployments to Afghanistan. During my five years stationed in Florida, we had our first child, Brooklynn Grace McClure. I was then issued orders to become an instructor for my career field- Pavements and Equipment. This assignment sent us back to Missouri at Fort Leonard Wood, which is where we are currently located. While here we had our second child, Gabriel Thomas (GT) McClure. Since moving here, I have made Technical Sergeant and am thoroughly enjoying life as an instructor. The job has even had me question my degree, and I have considered getting a degree in education as I really enjoy being an instructor. Also while here I have been able to take classes at a much more rapid rate and getting a very great education through American Military University (AMU/APUS). Now, as I have been obtaining good grades and taking much more classes, I am closer to my Criminal Justice degree and hope that the Golden Key Society membership can be mutually beneficial. My future plans are to obviously obtain my degree but to continue being a family man while also trying to balance out my career ambitions, which are to apply to Officer Training School though I will never be closed minded and will welcome other opportunities. Thank you or reading my life story, there is much more to me then what is written but this is a good start and I hope to meet fellow Golden Key Society members.
