Fall 2020: Service Event #2 - Hawaii Food Bank Virtual Food Drive Go to Chapter

Across Hawaiʻi, food insecurity has increased by more than 60% due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 200,000 residents are struggling with hunger due to quarantine modifications and unemployment. Of this statistic, 1 in 4 keiki and 1 in 6 kūpuna need food assistance. As leaders in our community, we would like to ensure that our keiki have the nutrition they need to strive for academic success and that our kūpuna have access to healthy meals. We hope to reduce the amount of households that are struggling to put food on the table during this time of need. Join us in our virtual food drive in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Foodbank as they continue to provide safe food access to the communities of Hawaiʻi.
