"The Professor Is In" with Prof. Korbi Ghosh Go to Chapter

What makes a life well-lived? This key question in Positive Psychology suggests that doing what we love is essential. In a world focused on achievement, the importance of leisure, exploration, and living in the moment is often forgotten. What happens when we value engagement for its own sake? Professor Korbi Ghosh will discuss empirical and anecdotal evidence for a path to healing and growth through play and presence, often overlooked in both personal and clinical contexts.

Professor Korbi Ghosh is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, providing individual, couples and group therapy to diverse populations throughout Los Angeles. Her work focuses primarily on anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues and significant life transitions including postpartum and parenting challenges. She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and her MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Since 2021, Korbi has been a GSEP instructor teaching Positive Psychology as well as Interpersonal Skills and Group Therapy. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, practicing the piano and leisurely watching sports at all levels, including the ones played by her 10 year old twin boys

Light snacks will be served.
