Presents

Careers For All: National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI)

Careers for All: (NAMI) National Association of Mental Illness.

Kathleen McAtee, Director of Professional Development for our chapter, is presenting this event. Kathleen is interested in Human Resource Management and Psychology. Inspired by her husband’s compassionate volunteer work in a nonprofit organization, Kathleen follows his passion. She was inspired, and as a Golden Key Officer, she contacted the organization and collaborated with NAMI.

Our Resource: National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI).

With (NAMI) as a credible resource, Kathleen will share information about (1). the services that they provide (2). how NAMI helps individuals and families get through tough times (3.) how members and friends can immediately get help through kind donations, and (4). how individuals and groups can collaborate and plan services. Among other things, NAMI informs the public about available resources and how to get help for people in need.

What will your charitable donation do?

By making a generous donation to NAMI, you will make a life changing difference. Individuals with mental illness benefit from NAMI because it provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness. This is so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. To build a better life for all individuals and families affected by mental illness, Members of Golden Key can benefit from helping care giving organizations when they volunteer and network. Virtual, of Face to Face, giving back to the community for a larger cause of compassion speaks volumes. From a career standpoint, Golden Key members will gain insight into how nonprofits advocate for, help, and encourage the betterment of individuals and communities because of this beautiful and compassionate experience.

One-Time or Monthly donations to support these causes are always appreciated and welcomed by all!
