Saturday May 7^th, through Sunday May 8^th, 2022, Golden Key International Honor Society will be presenting and promoting a fun family event of hiding ‘Painted Rocks’: Quotes to Inspire’! There is nothing more exciting than finding a random rock while at the park, hiking, or near a public garden that has an inspiring quote to make your day! Let us spread some joy this year by making someone else’s day feel special when finding one of your Golden Key Painted Rocks!

What is the Purpose of this Event?

The purpose of this Rock 'n event is to decorate rocks and hide the rocks for someone to find. When found it can brighten that person 's day! Decorate your rock with an inspirational quote. Paint the Golden Key hashtag on it too. #UOPGKI

How can you Rock the World?

Gather a group of friends or family. Make it a special time to get creative. Make ‘Rock’n Memories. Place your inspirational rock in a place where someone must look for it. When someone finds it, you have made someone else’s day.

Follow These 5 Steps to Efficiently Paint Your Rock:

1. Find Your Rock: Find rocks in a size and shape that you prefer for writing or decorating!
2. Clean Your Rock: Clean the rock with soap and water
3. Paint Your Rock: You can use acrylic paint pens and create a FUN design! Write a positive note or quote! Remember to paint the hashtag #UOPGKI on the Rock.
4. Seal Your Rock: Seal the rock with a paint sealer to protect your design!
5. Spread Kindness: Leave your painted rock in a cool place, park, or stream for someone else to find!
