Exploration of Professional Development

 On Friday, April 8th, 2022, taking place via Zoom at 8:00 p.m. EST- 9:00 p.m. EST, the University of Phoenix Chapter of Golden Key International Honour Society will be presenting Exploration of Professional Development.

 Kathleen McAtee, Director of Professional Development for our chapter, is presenting this event. Kathleen is interested in Human Resource Management and Psychology. After conducting an information-based interview with Debbie Deisroth,  Kathleen is ready to share these keys to success with our Golden Key members.

 Our Professional Resource:

Debbie Deisroth (MBA) is the President of Tri-State Human Resource Management Association (HRMA). She has multiple HR certifications. As a Society for Human Resource Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), with partnerships among colleges in the areas of strategy and policymaking. She is also a certified team coach, and founder of ‘D.D.’ Coaching for Professionals.

After the interview with Debbie, three professional development skills were discovered as an important and resourceful aspects of professional development are communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. These three skills will be further explored during this event!

What is the Purpose of Exploring Professional Development?

The purpose of this event is you will learn how to advance your professional career by developing these three key skills (communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving). Upon completing this event, you may be able to apply these skills to college, personal free time, or in the workplace.
