UWL Volunteering with Afghan Refugees Go to Chapter

Ft. McCoy in nearby Sparta, WI, is a welcoming location for Afgahns who have fled for their safety. Lisa Klein (Community Engagement Coordinator, University Advancement and Honorary Member) has put us in contact with Team Rubicon at the Sparta Armory where donations are being collected and sorted.

Summary: 5 of us attended and received a tour of the facility. It is an amazing effort.
