Our next Service Event: Yoga for Mental Health.
Event Details:
“You 're invited! Dr. Nina Spadaro, Skills Coordinator, Walden University’s School of Counseling, will lead a 45 minute yoga experience to not only wake up your body, but also to join your mind and your heart for mental health. This is a physical practice for beginners that will help you let go of past stress so that you are ready for whatever is next. Be prepared to clear enough floorspace and, if possible be adjacent to a wall or next to your bed. Nice to have: A wooden or linoleum floor and bare feet (or a yoga mat), a non-stretchy belt (or yoga strap), a sturdy kitchen chair (or yoga blocks), and one or two folded blankets (or yoga blankets)”.
