Event description:
The Brock Leaders Citizenship Society (BLCS), in partnership with Brock University Alumni and Donor Relations, is hosting a Planning Ahead Panel on Friday, March 13th from 6:30pm-8:30pm in Cairns Atrium. All students are welcome to attend, and speak with Brock alumni regarding their Brock experience and career path so far! The first half of the night is a Q&A session for students to ask panelists about their involvement and careers, and the second half of the night is a reception that provides opportunity for networking. We have 4 panelists from various career backgrounds attending to talk about their involvement at Brock, as well as their career path so far:
1. John Mikhaeil (B. Sc. ’17 Medical Science) is pursing a career in medicine at the UofT medical school.
2. Tessa Lofthouse (B.A/B.Ed ’12 in French Studies) is pursuing a career in teaching.
3. Chris Ventura (BA ’12) is a member of the BUAA Board of Directors. He completed his Master of Education in Leadership and Administration in 2017, and is a Community Engagement Office Manager for a member of parliament.
4. Megan Brown (B. Sc. ’17 in Medical Science) is now working at Brock as a Community Engagement Coordinator while pursuing her MBA/MPH.
