The GSEP Psychology Department and Golden Key International Honor Society are hosting an event titled - Intimate Partner Violence & Practicing Prevention Conversation - Jenesse Center with Ms. Sandy Pattison on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at 3:00pm.

Learn about the dynamics and cycles of intimate partner violence, barriers to seeking services, and empowerment models of supporting survivors through this interactive conversation.
Sandy Pattison, a community educator and prevention specialist, earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in American Studies and Spanish Literature from Occidental College, where she began her work in violence prevention as a peer educator for the college’s sexual and intimate partner violence prevention and intervention office.
As Youth Programs Coordinator at Jenesse Center she manages the organization’s partnerships and educational, healing, and advocacy-related programs with both local and national colleges and universities. Her personal mission is to work towards ending all forms of power-based harm through education, advocacy, and fostering interpersonal understanding and connection.
