Fundraiser Spring Safe & Delivered Bake Sale Go to Chapter

cancelled due to illness. This safe and delivery bake sale was fully organized and was great as our 4th bake sale for leadership. We organized online orders and made our route for deliveries around the city of Winnipeg. We advertised the bake sale on all platforms and we took prepayments for all bake sales going to our scholarships. The bake sale was cancelled as the baker Kristi Monro -a GK member who bakes for our bake sales, her family got sick. So we had to cancel for safety reasons. We refunded all monies, with a few saying keep it for the scholarship. She offered to rebook for fall bake sales again!! Kiel our VP Fundraising learned a lot from these first time experiences. Our bake sale items were for $2.00 and up, which raised after all events $1038.00. We showed you Covid! We raised enough for next year 's scholarships. The UW-GK In-Course Scholarship, the UW-GK Convocation Scholarship, and to help fund the Chapter scholarship.
