UW-GK Workshop: Resume and Cover Letter Writing Go to Chapter

The UW-GK has partnered with UW Career Services to offer a partnered Resume and Cover Letter Writing workshop. We had the highest turn out as we advertised campus wide. We had access to resume and writing experts who outlined what employers are looking for. We sent thank you cards and gift cards to thank our speaker. Frank from Career Services found that a very nice touch. Worksheet materials were also provided. The event was advertised around campus, on the career services media formats and the UW-GK mediums. We had a poster and emails to advertise. Pooja, VP Executive spent endless hours beyond the amount listed to organized and advertise the event. Her volunteer efforts paid off. Leadership and Academics were at the forefront.
