The University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, promotes the excellence and integration between students from different faculties in order give all the necessary tools to develop leadership skills, obtain academic excellence and spread social awareness of the importance of community service, pillars that rule our organization. By these means, we create more competitive students and future professionals that can make their contributions for the development of a better society. The Río Piedras Campus Golden Key Chapter had its first five members enrolled by January 1, 1988, thanks to the initiative of our loyal Advisor, Dr. Carlos Ramos. This individual effort gave its firsts fruits on May 20, 1988 when the first 136 members were inducted. Our Chapter forms part of the U.S. Region 3, which includes universities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, U.S. Virgin Islands as well as Puerto Rico.
