The University enrolls over 9,000 graduate and professional students in more than 100 disciplines. It is among the top five universities in number of earned doctorates awarded annually in the United States. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Golden Key chapter strives to make a significant impact on campus and the local community, promoting its members’ achievement in academics, leadership and service. The 19th Golden Key chapter, the University of Illinois at urbana-Champaign was chartered on April 27, 1981, as a part of U.S. Region 5, which includes institutions in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
