The University of South Dakota chapter believes in excellence and strives to provide the best environment possible for guiding our Golden Key members to achieve in academics, leadership and service. The 236th Golden Key chapter, USD was chartered April 22, 1996, as part of U.S. Region 6, which includes institutions in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. In addition to all of the valuable membership benefits, discounts and opportunities at both the local chapter level and the Society level, Golden Key members at the University of South Dakota have the option of being recognized during graduation by wearing their honor cords for purchase.
