New York Institute of Technology
New York Institute of Technology inducted its first members into Golden Key on November 17, 2004, becoming the 346th chapter, as a part of US Region 1, which includes institutions in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C. Induction is an outward recognition of personal accomplishment and serves as an incentive for continued high scholarship as well as access to opportunities for leadership, networking, and service. In addition to all of the valuable membership benefits, discounts and opportunities both at the local chapter level and Society level, New York Institute of Technology gives special recognition to each Golden Key member within the commencement program at graduation. Students also have the option of being recognized during graduation by wearing their honor cords for purchase.
