Stony Brook University Chapter Wins Award

Stony Brook University Chapter Wins Award

The Stony Brook University chapter was recognized by the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) with the “Of The Month Award” for Best Community Service Project in the month of October. They earned the award for their Pink and Denim Day charity event that helped raise money for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. They were able to raise over $2,000 in just an hour and a half! On 14 October, the chapter hosted over 80 volunteers at various locations throughout campus to spread the word about the event and collect donations.

NAU & ASU Participate in Camping Retreat

Officers from Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University Golden Key chapter’s recently took a joint camping retreat to the Manzanita Campground in the Coconino National Forest. The group consisted of six NAU representatives and five ASU representatives. The group enjoyed a weekend of team-building and collaboration including a hike, scary stories, camp fires and much more! The camping trip is one of several activities the chapters join forces on. The chapter’s also compete for how many service hours each can accomplish per academic year.
