University of North Texas Wins MLK Year of Service Award
Dallas area Golden Key chapters worked together to complete a Make a Difference Day project on 24 October. The University of North Texas chapter initiated this service event and submitted a story to their Center for Leadership and Service. As a result, the chapter won a $250 award for the most compelling story write-up. The MLK Year of Service is UNT’s program to spotlight the good works done by UNT students, faculty and staff and to provide more information on ways to become involved in the community.
