Kiara earned a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of New York Tirana in 2016, a Bachelor’s of Finance from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2019, and is pursuing her Master’s of Business Administration from Questrom School of Business, Boston University.

“For me, everything has a story, and the first success story that everyone can achieve in life is growing oneself,” Kiara says. “My name is Kiara Pashko, and my story begins with my name, which in Italian means bright and clear. I love this “myth” because guiding through the maze of life and confusion; we need to be clear and determined on our goals. Behind every success story, there are not only years of hard work and dedication, but there are also people and organizations who support one along the way.”

Kiara has worked hard to get to where she’s at today.

“My hard work and determination to my goals allowed me to be admitted to my dream school and allowed me to pursue my MBA degree,” Kiara shares. “It was also the Golden Key’s support that contributed to my success story through this scholarship!”

Kiara’s determination helped her to make the Dean’s list and graduate Summa Cum Laude.

“Despite the obstacles that I faced as an International Transfer student from my country, Albania, I managed to maintain a high GPA which put me on the Dean’s list every semester at the University of Massachusetts Boston,” Kiara mentions. “I graduated with a BSc in Finance and was honored with Summa Cum Laude, the highest distinction award.”

Kiara has been a very active member of Golden Key since she was inducted.

“As a member of Golden Key throughout my college years, I helped to raise funds and awareness for worthy causes and volunteered my time to help others,” Kirara explains. “I attended the Golden Key Leadership and Service Conference in Chicago, in 2019, where we successfully hosted a workshop on women’s inclusion and empowerment.”

Kiara believes that we should always strive to help each other.

“My life motto is to lift as you climb, as I always want to give back to my community and to inspire other female students or leaders around the world who are working hard every day to achieve their dreams,” Kiara remarks. “We are stronger together!”

Thank you for being a part of the Golden Key family, Kiara; we wish you the best of luck with your M.B.A!
