Forum on Reconciliation Looks to the Future
To celebrate National Reconciliation Week and mark the 10th Anniversary of the historic Bridge Walks for Reconciliation, the University of Southern Queensland Golden Key chapter hosted an Intellectual Forum in Springfield. Organised by USQ’s Golden Key Chapter and the Centre for Australian Indigenous Knowledges (CAIK), the forum discussed the topic “Reconciliation: Let’s See It Through.”
The forum panel was made up of notable members of the community who had made a significant contribution to reconciliation. There were representatives from Queensland Indigenous Education Consultative Committee (QIECC), Relationships Australia and Ipswich City Council as well as the Indigenous Elder, Uncle Albert Holt, on the panel.
