Stony Brook University Chapter Wins Award
The Stony Brook University chapter was recognized by the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) with the “Of The Month Award” for Best Community Service Project in the month of October. They earned the award for their Pink and Denim Day charity event that helped raise money for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. They were able to raise over $2,000 in just an hour and a half! On 14 October, the chapter hosted over 80 volunteers at various locations throughout campus to spread the word about the event and collect donations.
