Graduate Scholar Award Announced at International Conference

Canadian student Stephanie Marie Beattie from the University of New Brunswick, Saint John was recognized at the international conference this year. Stephanie was her chapter’s president for 2008-2009 and won a Graduate Scholar Award, a $10,000 scholarship for students pursuing graduate degrees.

Canadian student Sasi Shanmugarajah from the University of Toronto won this year’s Golden Key Visual and Performing Arts award for photography. “Everyday People” was a collection of striking and poignant images of everyday individuals from around the globe.  Mr. Shanmugarajah received a $1,000 award.
