Golden Key Headquarters will be providing ten t-shirts each to the first 50 registered MDDay projects through the GK website. Make sure to alert your AD when you have submitted this report!
We will also be offering one $500 and two $250 Awards for outstanding chapter MDDay initiatives.
These awards will be allocated on the following criteria:
1. Use of social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) to market prior to your event.
2. Use of social media to report on the service once completed (this can include, but isn’t limited to: posting pictures on Facebook, videos on the GK Youtube channel, updating your chapter’s webpage, etc.)
3. Submission of an application for award .

Please follow the steps outlined below to REGISTER, PLAN and REPORT your event.
STEP 1
Take a look at the "Tips for Getting Started" and "Service Leader Toolkit" to start planning and preparing for your event
STEP 2
REGISTER your EVENT with the HandsOn Network DAYtaBank to ensure you are counted among the millions Making A Difference. Please use the following naming convention to ensure all Golden Key chapter events are registered:
EVENT TITLE: “Chapter name, event”
ORGANIZATION: “Golden Key International Honour Society”
Complete a Chapter EVENT Report located in chapter toolkit to ensure that you receive credit for your project in the 2012-2013 Chapter Standards Program.
STEP 3
Market your event to your members and the campus community. For ideas download the

STEP 4
REPORT on the success of your event on your chapter website, the Golden Key Facebook, your chapter Facebook, the Golden Key YouTube channel, Twitter, and more!
