Member Story

Golden Key has been a great opportunity for me during my undergraduate studies at Old Dominion University. I knew that it was very important for me to not only maintain a high GPA, but to try to get involved in school and the community as well. When I was invited to join GK, I didn't' completely know what to expect, but came to realize that it was a great collection of peers and mentors.

I joined this honor society in the Fall of 2009 and was later chosen as treasurer for my senior year. I truly enjoyed the GK experience and developed many skills as a member to help succeed in both my studies and life at the university. Through meetings and volunteer opportunities, I was able to meet many bright and successful colleagues, which allowed me to develop leadership and interpersonal skills.
